Jays break recent skid, top Southern Boone

The Jefferson City Jays were hungry for a goal and a win.

They got one of each Thursday night.

Dylan Brauner scored about nine minutes into the second half for the game’s lone score as Jefferson City topped Southern Boone 1-0 at the 179 Soccer Park.

“It wasn’t our best game but we found a way to win,” Jays coach Eddie Horn said.
