This year’s flu vaccine is readily available in Cole County, and for those who cringe at the thought of the traditional shot, there are other options.
In addition to the traditional intramuscular shot, options now exist for a mist nasal spray and intradermal shot that only penetrates the skin and doesn’t go into the muscle, Cole County Health Department officials say.
