ST. LOUIS - Saturday, it hurt. It's going to hurt today and that feeling will likely continue for a while. But in time, when the Helias Crusaders look back at this year's Class 4 state championship football game, they'll realize one thing.
The Webb City Cardinals were just that good.
"All the credit to them, this was their day," Helias coach Phil Pitts said after the Crusaders dropped a 49-14 decision Saturday to the Cardinals at the Edward Jones Dome.
