Lincoln women post 2-0 mark at Quincy’s Tip-Off Classic

QUINCY, Ill. — The Lincoln women’s basketball team picked up some hardware Saturday afternoon.

The Blue Tigers defeated Hannibal-LaGrange 79-76 a day after beating Quincy 75-62 to win the Quincy Subway Tip-Off Classic.

The Lincoln men weren’t quite so fortunate, as they wrapped up an 0-2 performance in the Freeman Sports/Chris Tucker Memorial Classic in Joplin with a 78-72 loss to Missouri Southern, the host school.
