Missouri men should break basketball title drought in first season in SEC

I was 6 years old the last time Missouri won a regular-season conference championship in basketball.

It was the 1993-94 season, when Norm Stewart led the Tigers to a 14-0 conference record in the old Big 8 Conference. So, as you can imagine, I don’t remember it.

Needless to say, it’s been quite a while since Missouri has been crowned a conference champion. That might change in 2012-13. Actually, it will change. The Missouri Tigers will be your 2012-13 Southeastern Conference regular-season champions.

Yes, I said it. So when it inevitably doesn’t happen everybody can ridicule me. And call me names. Just don’t call me a chicken.
