Four years ago, Cole County Clerk Marvin Register said, the presidential election drew a 73 percent voter turnout. Register feels we could see that amount again Tuesday.
"We've had a steady stream of absentee voters," he said. "As of Saturday, there were 4,075 absentee ballots cast. Four years ago, we had 4,662 absentee ballots cast."
