Mo. man gets 5 life sentences for molesting kids

ST. LOUIS (AP) — A 37-year-old eastern Missouri man has been sentenced to five consecutive life sentences in prison, plus 34 years, for sex acts with three young children.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/U0FV69) reports Harley Juan Smith of St. Charles County was indicted by a grand jury in March and pleaded guilty in August to four counts of statutory sodomy. He also pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing child pornography, two counts of child molestation, statutory rape and sexual misconduct involving a child.

Prosecutors say the incidents took place between October 2008 and January 2012 at the homes of the children, all of whom were younger than 12.

Police say two of the children were assaulted while Smith was baby-sitting them.

Circuit Judge Ted House handed down the sentence Friday.

In most states the molester has the choice of GP or ad seg. I wish they weren't allowed a choice. But some how the molester gets what's coming to him because the other inmates aren't stupid. I've heard stories about that kind of thing and it isn't pretty but the molester finds out a few things.A cousin of mine was in prison and he told me things that curled my toes. One guy had his junk sawed off. I really can't say much because it won't go through si I'll try to work around it. Another guy bled to death due to a broom.Ouch.

Here's more. Hung, blinded by a shank, fingers bent, twisted and removed, um, darn memory. That's all I can remember for now.
