State DeMolay conclave taking place in Capital City

The bonds of brotherhood and fraternity will be a little stronger at the end of this Memorial Day weekend. For the 39th year, the Missouri DeMolay is holding its annual conclave at Capitol Plaza Hotel and other locations around Jefferson City.

DeMolay is a male youth organization that is sponsored by Free Masons, Shriner’s Clubs and the Scottish Rite. DeMolay is a completely youth run organization; adults are merely there to support and guide them in the right direction.

The event, which runs through Monday, brings DeMolay groups from across the state. The young men will take part in ritual competitions that involved memorization, sports activities, banquets and overall, fun.
