Priddy, Viele honored for historical efforts

In different ways, Bob Priddy and Steve Veile are preserving Jefferson City history.

Priddy has written several books and presented several programs on unique features and historic legacies. As president of the Historic City of Jefferson, Veile has cultivated several new programs to highlight historic gems. He also lives in, works at and owns three city Landmarks.

Veile and Priddy were named Gregory Stockard Distinguished Service Award recipients Thursday at the city Historic Preservation Commission’s annual celebration.
