As a Christian, I am tired of hearing about the left and the gay marriage issue. I am not here to judge, but I want to say enough.
Everything I have studied and learned, either through my upbringing or my faith, tells me this is wrong. President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden have proved what is wrong with this country, no morals.
I was speaking the other day about this and was asked to shut up about this issue and I am sorry but, I cannot. We were brought up to believe that marriage is one of the sacraments and is a man and a woman coming together and becoming one. We also are taught that we then be fruitful and multiply. If we were not told this and our nature was to be with a same-sex partner, I could understand the "right" to marry man with man and woman with woman.
But that is not the case. I think all Christian people should rise up on this issue and vote out those who wish to push their views against the morals of the United States of America's people.
I know I will more than likely hear rebuttals on this, but we also are taught that will happen whenever we stand up against things like this.
