The Jefferson City Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department is preparing for the next budget year.
At the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting Tuesday, department Director Bill Lockwood said the budget would have no new positions and put as much money toward the multipurpose building as possible.
“It’s pretty much a stable budget,” Lockwood said. “I will give them a balanced budget.”
