California woman pleads guilty to meth charge

A California woman pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court in Jefferson City to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Cassie Allee, 23, pleaded without a plea agreement, and she remains in federal custody.

Sentencing has not been scheduled. She is facing a maximum of 20 years in prison.

According to law enforcement records, Allee was taken into custody after the execution of a search warrant at a residence north of California on Missouri 87 in July 2011.
