WILLARD, Mo. - Vienna ran in the Class 1 Sectional 2 Meet on Saturday, winning the 25-team event with 78.5 points.
Vienna advanced six individuals in eight events to the state meet. The top four finishers in each event advance to the state meet this Saturday at Dwight T. Reed Stadium.
St. Elizabeth competed as well, finishing with 10 points in the team event. The Hornets failed to advance an individual to the state meet.
Vienna took second place on the girls side with 69 points and advanced three individuals to the state meet in four events. St. Elizabeth advanced one individual in two events.
