Tennis: Jays slip past Hickman

The Jefferson City Jays advanced to the finals of the Class 2 District 9 Tournament with a 5-4 victory Tuesday over the Hickman Kewpies at Washington Park.

The doubles team of David Steinemeyer and Isaac Roling won the deciding match with a 7-5, 2-6, 6-1 victory.
