Murder investigation continues; three still jailed

It’s been more than two weeks since Keith Mosely was killed in a Buena Vista Street apartment.

Three men are in custody, each indicted on second-degree murder charges and each being held on a $500,000 bond.

“Detectives are still actively investigating the case to ensure all leads/stories/issues are resolved,” police Capt. Doug Shoemaker said.

Cole County grand jurors have charged Brandon Chase, 28, of 1122 E. Elm St.; Tracy Session, 25, of 623 Locust St.; and Khiry Devon Summers, 20, of 1606 N. Brooks Court.
