MARYVILLE, Mo. — Lincoln avoided a doubleheader sweep with a big eighth inning in Game 2 to knock off Northwest Missouri State 6-4 Saturday.

After dropping the opener 4-2, the Blue Tigers and Bearcats were tied at 2 entering the eight when Lincoln’s bats caught fire.
