Eden Hoogveld (No. 4) and the Jefferson City Lady Jays take on the Helias Lady Crusaders tonight at the 179 Soccer Park.
The Helias Lady Crusaders have proven to be adept at scoring goals this season. The Jefferson City Lady Jays take pride in keeping opponents out of the net.
Who does what they do best the best could be the deciding factor tonight when the teams meet in their annual crosstown showdown at 179 Soccer Park.
“It doesn’t take a genius to see who should be the favorite,” Jefferson City coach Matt Stacey said. “We’re playing a team that scores a ton of goals, one that has a lot of scoring power.”
The Lady Crusaders aren’t necessarily buying into the fact they should be the favorite.
