The Missouri Department of Conservation Natural Resource Conservation Service and Cole County Soil and Water Conservation District are hosting a Prescribed Fire Workshop from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lincoln University's Carver Farm, 3804 Bald Hill Road.
The workshop will cover topics including: proper methods and techniques used for implementing controlled burns, burn equipment availability and developing burn plans. Professionals will be on hand to answer questions and will have literature and brochures on wildlife management.
