Pregnancy counseling center to open Saturday

The Pregnancy Help Center of Central Missouri will open Saturday in Jefferson City at 1011B Southwest Blvd. Many local pastors and concerned residents have been working to open a pregnancy support and counseling center, since the My Life Clinic closed at the same location a few years ago.

At the center’s open house 10 a.m.-1 p.m., visitors will greet volunteers and the executive director, Christian Bonett. Volunteers will follow the ethics of the multi-denominational, Christian organization. And they are receiving legal and psychological training through Heartbeat International.
