A Jefferson City man charged with child molestation and promoting child pornography for incidents that occurred between February and July has been taken into custody.
Grady M. Kent, 22, of 214 Dunford St., was arrested Tuesday and was listed as being held in the Cole County Jail on Wednesday on a $150,000 bond.
A police probable cause statement said Kent had nude photographs and videos on his cell phone of a child younger than 13.
At the time the charges were filed earlier this month, authorities said Kent had left the area and couldn't be located.
