Helias girls continue to roll

WASHINGTON — The Helias Lady Crusaders opened play in the St. Francis Borgia Invitational with a 48-21 rout of Jefferson: Festus on Monday night.

It was a close game after one period, with the Lady Crusaders up just 10-8. But they outscored Jefferson 38-13 the rest of the way. The lead was 22-11 at halftime and 43-17 after three quarters.
