Three men are in critical condition following a shooting incident near Eldon late Wednesday, while three others are being held pending charges in the incident.
Miller County Sheriff Bill Abbott said the incident took place about 11:21 p.m. Wednesday. His office received a 911 call that a man had been shot during an altercation at the Town and Country subdivision, a few miles south of Eldon.
When officers responded, they learned three men had been shot. One man had remained at the scene, but the other two had already left to seek medical assistance.
