Mistakes doom Lady Jays in loss to Nixa

The Jefferson City Lady Jays did enough Monday night to beat the state-ranked Nixa Lady Eagles.

Unfortunately for the Lady Jays, they also did just enough not to get the victory.

The Lady Eagles, ranked No. 6 in Class 5 by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association, came back from a 10-point deficit to edge the Lady Jays 44-42 at Fleming Fieldhouse.
