Busy week for basketball squads

Several area schools begin play today in small school basketball districts around the area.

After a play-in game Saturday night, the Class 3 District 10 Tournament begins in earnest today in Versailles with four girls games.

California is the No. 2 seed behind Skyline and opens with Cole Camp at 7 p.m. In the only district game matching local teams, fourth-seeded Eugene will face fifth-seeded Russellville at 5:30 p.m.
