ELDON, Mo. - There was every indication the Class 4 District 10 title game between the Helias Crusaders and the Eldon Mustangs was going to be a slugfest.
But until Friday night, it would have been hard to imagine just how hard-fought it would be.
With baskets incredibly hard to come by, the Crusaders used a big fourth-quarter output from the free-throw line to carve out a 39-31 win over the Mustangs.
The Crusaders, who were 0-of-3 from the charity stripe through three quarters, connected on 13-of-21 in the fourth to rally for the victory.
