Pancake event Thursday to benefit charity

You can get all the pancakes you can eat Thursday and also help the families of sick children.

The McDonald’s restaurants in Jefferson City, Fulton, Holts Summit and Kingdom City will join other McDonald’s restaurants in Central Missouri for an “All You Can Eat Hotcakes Night” from 4-8 p.m. Thursday. Customers can purchase a $5 ticket that is valid for unlimited pancakes for one person.

The event will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri. Proceeds from the sales will be used to help build a new Ronald McDonald House in Columbia near the University of Missouri Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

The Ronald McDonald House provides a free place for families to stay while visiting a sick child at the hospital.
