Letting loose, getting to know coworkers and having fun are the top reasons dozens of teachers, cooks, custodians, aides and administrators keep coming back to the JCPS Bowling League.

Open to any Jefferson City Public School employee, the nine-week league was formed 21 years ago to lift teacher spirits during the doldrums of winter.

This winter, the league has 18 four-person teams.
