KAISER, Mo. — California’s stingy defensive effort in the second quarter was the difference as the Lady Pintos earned a 46-41 victory over School of the Osage on Tuesday night.

Trailing 12-11 after the first quarter, the Lady Pintos allowed just two second-quarter points and entered halftime leading 20-14.
