TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Martin St. Louis scored three times in his 900th NHL game, Steven Stamkos added his league-leading 34th goal and the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Florida Panthers 6-3 on Saturday night.
St. Louis got two goals during Tampa Bay's four-goal second, helping the Lightning take a 5-3 lead entering the third. The right wing, who has six goals and 16 points during a nine-game point streak, completed the hat trick on an empty-netter during the final minute of play.
Nate Thompson and Vincent Lecavalier also scored for the Lightning, who have won six of seven. Lecavalier added three assists and reached 20 goals for the 12th straight season.
Florida got goals from Tomas Fleischmann, Mikael Samuelsson and Sean Bergenheim. The Southeast Division-leading Panthers were coming off a 2-1 win over Winnipeg on Friday night.
OILERS 5, RED WINGS 4, SO
EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) - Sam Gagner Gagner had two goals and an assist, and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored the shootout winner as Edmonton beat league-leading Detroit.
The Oilers blew a 3-1 lead in the third period but sent it to overtime when Jordan Eberle scored with 39 seconds left.
Eberle ended up with a pair of goals for the Oilers, who have won three in a row and are 4-0-1 in their last five games.
Todd Bertuzzi had a pair of goals, and Valtteri Filppula and Drew Miller also scored for the Red Wings, who snapped a two-game winning streak and lost for only the second time in 11 games.
PENGUINS 2, BRUINS 1
BOSTON (AP) - Marc-Andre Fleury made 28 saves and Evgeni Malkin scored a power-play goal to lift Pittsburgh over Boston for its ninth win in 10 games.
Matt Cooke had the other goal for the Penguins, who rebounded from a 1-0 loss at Toronto on Wednesday that ended a season-best eight-game winning streak.
Joe Corvo scored Boston's goal and Tim Thomas stopped 26 shots. The Bruins hadn't lost consecutive games since early December and dropped two in a row at home for the first time since Oct. 22nd and 27th.
Boston, blanked by Carolina 3-0 on Thursday, has lost six of 10.
MAPLE LEAFS 5, SENATORS 0
OTTAWA (AP) - James Reimer posted his second straight shutout, and Phil Kessel and Tyler Bozak each had three points to lead Toronto over Ottawa.
Kessel and Bozak each had a goal and two assists, while Dion Phaneuf, Luke Schenn and Cody Franson also scored for Toronto. Reimer stopped 49 shots for his third shutout of the season and has now made 74 saves in his last two games.
Craig Anderson, making his 17th straight start and 50th appearance, had little help from his teammates as he faced 40 shots.
Ottawa fell to 3-2-0 against Toronto this year.
SABRES 4, ISLANDERS 3, SO
UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) - Brad Boyes and Jason Pominville scored shootout goals, and Buffalo rallied from an early 3-1 deficit to beat New York.
The win gave goalie Ryan Miller 235 career victories, breaking a tie with six-time Vezina Trophy winner Dominik Hasek for the most in franchise history.
Buffalo's Paul Gaustad tied it 3-all midway through the third period.
The Islanders led 3-1 after the first period, paced by two goals from Frans Nielsen and one from Josh Bailey.
Derek Roy and Nathan Gerbe also had goals for Buffalo.
CANUCKS 3, AVALANCHE 2, SO
DENVER (AP) - Kevin Bieksa tied the game with 34.1 seconds remaining in regulation and Mason Raymond scored the lone goal in the shootout as Vancouver rallied to beat Colorado.
Raymond sent the puck through the pads of Jean-Sebastien Giguere and Roberto Luongo stopped all three shots he faced for Vancouver, which ended the Avs' streak of shootout wins at 10.
Ryan Kesler added a goal and Luongo had 44 saves for the Northwest Division leaders.
Trailing 2-1 with 1:33 remaining, the Canucks pulled Luongo for an extra skater. Soon after, T.J. Galiardi had a chance to cement the win for the Avalanche, but missed the empty net.
Jay McClement and David Jones had goals for the Avalanche.
DEVILS 6, FLYERS 4
PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Kurtis Foster scored a pair of power-play goals to lead New Jersey over Philadelphia for the Devils' third straight win.
Ilya Kovalchuk, Dainius Zubrus, Zach Parise and Alexei Ponikarovsky also had goals for the Devils, whose special teams scored three times on the power play and once short-handed.
Down 6-0 to start the third period, the Flyers stormed back to make it close. Wayne Simmonds, Jaromir Jagr, Claude Giroux and Jake Voracek had Philadelphia's goals.
Sergei Bobrovsky allowed a career-worst six goals on 23 shots before getting replaced by Ilya Bryzgalov in the second period.
CAPITALS 3, CANADIENS 0
MONTREAL (AP) - Tomas Vokoun made 30 saves for his third shutout of the season and Alexander Semin scored on the second of Washington's two penalty shots in a win over Montreal.
Alex Ovechkin returned to the Capitals' lineup after serving a three-game suspension for his hit on Pittsburgh's Zbynek Michalek.
Dennis Wideman and Matt Hendricks also scored for Washington, which won for just the second time in its last six games (2-2-2).
Vokoun recorded his 47th NHL shutout and his first in 21 games against Montreal, which lost its third in a row. Vokoun debuted with the Canadiens in 1996-97.
HURRICANES 2, KINGS 1
RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Jeff Skinner scored 3:02 into the third period to lift Carolina over Los Angeles.
Jiri Tlutsy also scored and Cam Ward made 24 saves for the Hurricanes, who are 8-2-1 in their last 11 home games.
Anze Kopitar scored for Los Angeles and Jonathan Bernier made 20 saves as the Kings lost their second in a row.
The comeback win was a rarity for the Hurricanes, who entered the game with a 1-13-0 record when trailing after the first period. Los Angeles came in 9-0-1 when leading after the first.
PREDATORS 3, BLUES 1
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Pekka Rinne made 41 saves, and Martin Erat had a goal and two assists to lead Nashville past St. Louis.
The Predators have won six of seven, while the Blues have dropped three of four.
Mike Fisher and Sergei Kostitsyn also scored for Nashville
Chris Porter had the lone goal for St. Louis.
It was the fourth meeting of the season between the Central Division rivals, with Nashville winning all four matchups so far. The Predators are 12-2-2 against the Central this season.
Fisher has six goals in his last five games.
STARS 2, WILD 1, SO
DALLAS (AP) - Jamie Benn scored in the second round of the shootout to help Dallas maintained its home dominance over Minnesota.
Loui Eriksson scored for Dallas in the first round, but Matt Cullen got the Wild even in the second. Benn then beat Wild goaltender Niklas Backstrom with a wrist shot to give Dallas the advantage, and Kari Lehtonen denied Jared Spurgeon to gain an extra point for the Stars.
Mike Ribeiro notched a power-play goal and Lehtonen made 33 saves for the Stars.
Kyle Brodziak scored and Backstrom stopped 25 shots for the Wild, who haven't won in Dallas since a 3-2 overtime victory on March 21, 2003.
COYOTES 5, SHARKS 3
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Lauri Korpikoski scored two goals to lead Phoenix over San Jose.
Down two goals late, the Sharks' Patrick Marleau scored with 32 seconds left before Radim Vrbata quickly answered at 19:59.
Raffi Torres and Martin Hanzal also scored for the Coyotes, who got only their 11th home win (26 points) this season. Only Montreal and Columbus have less points at home.
The loss snapped a three-game losing streak by San Jose, while Phoenix won for the second time in its last six.
Jamie McGinn and Logan Couture scored goals for the Sharks.
