Haith downplays significance of Saturday’s game against Kansas

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Missouri students have already pitched their tents outside Mizzou Arena, even though the Tigers don’t play until Saturday night.

Missouri coach Frank Haith sent a video message to students and fans, reminding them to be respectful of those around them and their opponent.

College Gameday, ESPN’s traveling roadshow that will broadcast live for three hours Saturday, has arrived in town.

It must be Kansas week.
