Henson named coordinator, Hill QB coach at Missouri

COLUMBIA — New Missouri offensive coordinator Josh Henson had an early knack for coming up with football schemes.

Now, it’s a question of whether or not Missouri’s offense will see any drastic changes.

“My mom caught me drawing football plays on a table when I was 8 years old,” Henson said Monday. “I’ve always been into the X’s and O’s part of the game.”

Henson, who has been Missouri’s co-offensive line coach since 2009, will get his chance to try and boost a Missouri offense that ranked 96th nationally this year in total offense.

Henson, who replaces David Yost, wasn’t ready to say how Missouri’s offense would change next season, only to say some things would change and some would stay the same.
