The chances were there for Lincoln. The late-game execution wasn’t.
The Blue Tigers, trailing by just two points with five minutes to play, were outscored 12-2 down the stretch en route to a 57-45 loss to Northeastern State on Saturday afternoon at Jason Gym.
“We didn’t shoot the ball very well,” Lincoln head coach John Redmond said. “We didn’t do anything defensively or get rebounds like we should have. We beat ourselves as usual.”
