BOSTON (AP) - Chantell Alford scored 22 points and Rashidat Agboola had a double-double to lead Boston University to a 66-49 upset win over No. 17 St. John's on Saturday.
Alford knocked down six 3-pointers, shooting 7 of 12 from the floor for the Terriers (5-3). Agboola finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds - six offensive - and Danielle Callahan added 14 points.
Boston snapped the four-game winning streak of the Red Storm (4-2), who struggled to keep pace. The Terriers took a 32-13 lead when Alford made a 3-pointer with 3:54 left in the first half.
Boston kept the momentum going in the second half, pushing its lead to 22 points on Agboola's layup with 12:50 left in the game. St. John's pulled no closer than 16 points the rest of the way.
Amber Thompson was the only St. John's player to score in double figures with 11 points.
St. John's was missing its starting backcourt for the game. Eugeneia McPherson missed her first full game after suffering a season-ending ACL injury to her right knee against Hartford last Sunday. Point guard Nadirah McKenith dressed, but did not play because of back spasms.
No. 15 OHIO STATE 78, EVANSVILLE 33
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Tayler Hill scored 20 points to lead Ohio State to its 27th consecutive home victory, over Evansville in a nonconference game.
Ashley Adams added 14 points and all 13 players scored for the Buckeyes (5-2), who led 40-23 at halftime and began the second half with a 25-0 run to take complete command.
Ohio State, coming off a 57-54 loss to No. 22 North Carolina, shot 63 percent (17 of 27) in the first half and 63.6 percent (14 of 22) in the second. The Purple Aces (2-5) struggled to a 23.1 percent overall mark (12 of 52), including just 15.6 percent (5 of 32) in the second half while facing a ranked opponent for the first time this season.
Amber Stokes and Ameryst Alston added eight points each and Alston also had eight rebounds for the Buckeyes.
Samantha Heck led Evansville with nine points.
No. 18 OKLAHOMA STATE 91, TEXAS SOUTHERN 49
STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Liz Donohoe and Lindsey Keller scored 18 points apiece and Oklahoma State routed Texas Southern.
Toni Young added 16 points for the Cowgirls (6-0), who have won 12 in a row dating to last season's WNIT title. It's the nation's longest winning streak.
Morgan Toben scored 12 and Brittney Martin added 11 points. OSU's Tiffany Bias had 10 assists, more than the Tigers who finished with nine. Keller and Kendra Suttles had eight rebounds for the Cowgirls who had a 44-23 edge on the boards.
Gianne Fleming led the Tigers with 13 points. Texas Southern (1-6) has lost four in a row.
No. 21 NEBRASKA 60, IDAHO STATE 51
LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Jordan Hooper scored a season-high 29 points to lead Nebraska to a win over Idaho State.
Hooper needed just eight points to become the 16th player in school history to reach 1,200 career points. Hooper's double-double performance included 10 rebounds. She was 12 of 23 from the field.
Lindsey Moore had 13 points and five assists for the Cornhuskers (6-2).
The Cornhuskers led 31-23 at halftime and never trailed during the second half, shooting 37.7 percent (20 of 53) from the field for the game.
The Bengals shot 36.7 percent (18 of 49) from the field for the game.
Lindsey Reed scored 16 for the Bengals (3-3). Cydney Horton had 11 points and eight rebounds.
No. 23 DAYTON 82, UNLV 58
TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Sam MacKay scored 18 points to lead Dayton to a victory over UNLV in the first round of the ASU Classic.
Kelli Thompson scored 27 points for UNLV (2-5).
MacKay had a career-high eight rebounds for the Flyers (8-0). Andrea Hoover scored 14 points and Cassie Sant 12. Ally Mallot came off the bench and scored 13 points. Olivia Applewhite led with nine rebounds.
The Flyers, who shot 47 percent from the field for the game, led 42-19 at halftime.
The Rebels shot 20 of 57 (35 percent) from the field for the game, posting 18 turnovers.
Thompson, who was 9 of 20 from the field, also had seven rebounds for UNLV (2-5). Danielle Miller added nine points and Alana Cesarz eight.
