Library, schools team up on literacy project

A new program through Missouri River Regional Library and the Jefferson City Public Schools will implement a plan that will create stronger support for reading within the community.
Supporting Reading@Jefferson City Libraries will be officially launched Sept. 11.
The activities to promote reading will include library literacy nights for each school, author visits and a shared Jefferson City Book Week.
