Crusaders see entire spectrum while going 1-0-2

ST. CLAIR, Mo. — It was about what you’d expect from a Jamboree — a mixed bag.

For the Helias Crusaders, there were some good moments, some bad moments and some teachable moments.

“I was pretty pleased,” Helias football coach Phil Pitts said after the Crusaders went 1-0-2 in action against Rolla, St. Clair and Rock Bridge. “Our offense looked good a lot of the time, our defense made some plays, we were all right. But we definitely saw some things we need to work on.”
