One of the few places to see the Missouri Capitol dome from someone’s home, Wymore Place Apartments offer the unique view to 18 tenants.
The 88-year-old, three-building complex at 323 Washington St. was the first of its kind during Jefferson City’s booming growth of the 1920s.
The quality of the 1924-built properties could not be affordably matched by building new today, said Jay Burchfield, co-owner of Silver Tree Properties.
The August Golden Hammer award-winning building is named for its first owner Frank Wymore, who also lived there and worked as the complex manager.
