Veronica Thomas is excited and ready to leave her mark on the annual Reading Buddies program at Missouri River Regional Library in Jefferson City.

Thomas, a Kansas City native, said education is her passion. She loves working and developing educational programs of all types to help educate children.

“I really like the programing side of education, the things you can do with children to help them learn,” she said.
