It's been quite a week for the Lincoln Blue Tigers football team.

It started Tuesday night when a play from Lincoln's Martee Tenner was featured as the No. 1 play on ESPN's SportsCenter, and culminated Saturday with the Lincoln spring game at Dwight T. Reed Stadium.

"It's been a great week," Lincoln head coach Mike Jones said. "It's actually been a great couple weeks of Lincoln football. We've had spring football practice, guys have been playing well and working hard this offseason."

After an hour of offensive and defensive drills complemented by entertainment from the Blue Tiger pep band, the spring game got started with the Blue team (offense) facing the Gray team (defense) for four 10-minute quarters.

It sure got started with a bang.
