Residents with potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs will have a safe and legal way to dispose of the medications at an upcoming Prescription Take Back event.
From 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 28, the public is encouraged to bring medications for disposal to the Jefferson City Police Department, 401 Monroe St. The service is free and anonymous; no questions will be asked.
