Dear Editor:
I would like to congratulate News Tribune writer Angie Hutschreider on her recent Portrait article on Greg Rackers.
I have known Greg since his freshman year in high school, and Angie got it right about the dominating trait surrounding Greg, as laughter. I have many "smile lines" around my face I can attribute to our 15-year friendship.
I would also like to add honesty, integrity and a compassionate caring for others to go along with his great sense of humor, to complement Greg's love of laughter.
I have met many people in my life including members of the Jefferson City Country Club and the Blair Oaks School Board, yet, perhaps with the exception of my grandfather, I have met no one finer than Greg Rackers.
Thanks Angie for your article on my wonderful friend and an outstanding citizen, Greg Rackers.
