Fulton man arrested for statutory sodomy

FULTON, Mo. — Paul E. White, of Fulton, was taken into custody Tuesday morning after reports he had sexually abused two minor boys to whom he was related.

The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office investigated allegations White had abused the boys more than 10 years ago between 2000 and 2004.

“They made a disclosure at a place they currently stay,” said Callaway sheriff’s investigator Bob Smith, noting the accusations had been made as part of a hotline call.

A warrant was issued for White, and he was arrested on eight counts of first-degree statutory sodomy. White was taken to the Callaway County Jail, where his bond has been set at $400,000.

White is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing at 1:30 p.m. May 11 before Callaway Circuit Judge Carol England.
