FULTON - It took a play at the plate to help Blair Oaks preserve its undefeated record.
Falcon center fielder Tanner Kemna threw out a Fulton runner trying to score for the final out of the game, giving Blair Oaks a 5-4 victory Monday night.
With two outs and a runner on second base in the bottom of the seventh inning, Fulton's Randall Cole smacked a line drive single to centerfield. Kemna came up throwing and nailed Dalton Horstmeyer at the plate to end the game and move Blair Oaks to 9-0 on the season.
