Man in hockey mask robs mentally disabled

DELLWOOD, Mo. (AP) - Police in the St. Louis suburb of Dellwood are searching for a hockey mask-wearing man who burst into a home for mentally disabled adults, showed a shotgun and ran off with a small safe.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/r2GjHP ) reports that the crime happened Sunday night. Police have no suspects.

Authorities say the gunman was wearing an old-style hockey mask similar to one worn by the fictional character Jason in the "Friday the 13th" movies. He herded three male residents and a female caregiver into a bedroom, then ransacked the home and left with a safe containing about $1,000 in cash.

No one was hurt.
