ST. LOUIS (AP) - The founder of the popular City Museum in St. Louis is dead after a bulldozer accident.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/pUbp52) reports that 61-year-old Bob Cassilly died Monday morning at a property in St. Louis that he was transforming into his latest attraction, known as Cementland. Co-workers found him dead inside the bulldozer's cabin, which was upright.
Police and the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating.
Cementland has been in the works for more than a decade. Plans call for it to be an attraction featuring a castle, man-made mountains, elevated paths, pools and a river with tunnels for rowboats and inner tubes.
The City Museum opened in 1997 and was known for its eclectic mix of artifacts, art and activities.
