Body of missing Missouri man found in Riverside

RIVERSIDE, Mo. (AP) - The body of an 81-year-old suburban Kansas City man who had been missing for more than a week has been found in a remote area of Riverside.

Police say Kenneth Corder of Grandview was found dead Saturday morning alongside his pickup truck south of Interstate 635 and U.S. 69.

Corder was last seen Sept. 16 at 11 a.m. before he apparently missed an eye appointment.

The Jackson County medical examiner will determine the cause of death, but officials say it doesn't appear that foul play was involved.
