Prosecutors continue to review two fatality cases

The cases of a fatal car accident and a fatal shooting, both in Cole County, are still under review by prosecutors.

Osage County Prosecutor Amanda Grellner has been asked by Cole County Prosecutor Mark Richardson to review the Aug. 31 accident case, which resulted in the deaths of two people, and has not said how soon a decision could be made on whether to file charges.

In the other case, Richardson said Wednesday he is still reviewing a shooting on Sept. 2 that led to the death of Eugene man.
