Jays, Bruins to put improved defenses on display

Offense — or lack of defense — was the theme in Jefferson City’s 39-36 home loss to Rock Bridge last season.

The teams combined for 916 total yards to go along with 75 points.

But with drastic defensive improvements early this season for both squads, this year’s meeting could be a little different.
