She is not a Jefferson City native, but since moving to town 19 years ago, Valerie Moersch has felt nothing but at home in the Capital City.
As soon as Moersch and her husband, Tim, moved to town they got involved, and she said that was key.
"It can be difficult to get integrated into a new community when you move, especially in a town like Jefferson City that has a small-town feel, but is not really a small town," she said, noting adult athletic leagues were her and Tim's first activities in Jefferson City.
