Retirement facility robbed

At about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jefferson City police officers responded to a robbery at Melody House, a retirement facility, located at 3031 S. Ten Mile Drive.
Upon arrival, officers contacted the victim, who stated three males entered the business and demanded prescription drugs.
One of the suspects was carrying a handgun and threatened the victim, an attendant at Melody House, with that firearm.
Description of the suspects is three black males, of unknown height or build. All three had their heads partially covered.
Only one displayed a handgun.
No one was hurt during the robbery and the suspects left the business with an undisclosed amount of prescription medication.
Detectives are actively investigating this case and request anyone with information contact the Police Department or contact CrimeStoppers at 659-TIPS (8477).
