Lady Jays toppple Crusaders

The Jefferson City Lady Jays won all three doubles matches and cruised to an 8-1 victory against the Lady Crusaders Wednesday at Washington Park.

Molly Higgins and Eden Hoogveld defeated the team of Danica Shimkus and Abbey Gober 10-1. Claire Murphy and Kelly Raithel were 10-4 winners over Ashley Roling and Becca Shelton, while Jefferson City’s Blaire Dawdy and Shelby Horn knocked off Abbey Verslues and Casey Clogston 10-2.

The Lady Jays won four of the five singles matches to complete the victory.
